Jill Van de Brule

Jill is a humanitarian development leader and social entrepreneur with over two decades of global experience across the United Nations, private sector, and civil society. She specializes in transformational coaching for leaders and organizations navigating complexity. Jill supports her clients to realign with purpose, embody their vision, and chart new paths for growth and impact. As a climate researcher with UNICEF Innocenti’s Office of Research and Foresight, Jill co-developed the Leading Minds Fellowship on Climate—a pioneering initiative amplifying youth-led climate action. Her integrative approach weaves together systems thinking, strategic visioning, and somatic practices to help individuals and teams unlock their full potential. From post-crisis response in Ukraine and Haiti to high-level advocacy, Jill brings a combination of empathy and future-forward insight to every engagement.
Beyond her international policy work, Jill designs and facilitates immersive leadership retreats and strategic visioning sessions that foster alignment, cohesion, and collective momentum. She supports leaders across generations in navigating transitions, co-creating long-term roadmaps, and cultivating cultures rooted in sustainability, innovation, and purpose. She has held senior advisory roles at UN Headquarters, UNICEF, and UNESCO, leading global initiatives on youth engagement, education in emergencies, and sustainable development. As co-founder of MPOWERD—a B Corporation behind the Luci solar lantern—her entrepreneurial work was recognized by Forbes on its “40 Over 40” list of women transforming the world.
She has taught at Sciences Po Paris, curated international art exhibitions, and led intergenerational dialogues from grassroots circles to the global stages of Davos. She holds dual Master’s degrees from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and Sciences Po Paris, and a BA from Barnard College at Columbia University. Fluent in five languages and grounded in an Indigenous lineage, Jill bridges ancestral wisdom with contemporary leadership. Through her work, Jill empowers leaders and organizations to reconnect with what matters most, lead from within, and navigate change with courage, creativity, and coherence.
